Mexican Food Rocks Watch Rachael Ray Video

My favorite food is Mexican such as enchiladas, tostados, nachos, chimichangas, and of course chips and salsa. My favorite restaurant which is prominent in Texas is Abuelos. It costs a little more than other Mexican food, but it is sooooo worth it!! But here in Pasadena, TX we frequently go to a restaurant called The Ranchito.

You can get out of there with about 6.00 per person. They bring queso dip with their salsa which is wonderful. (My husband calls it liquid cheese) LOL. If a Mexican food restaurant stays mostly away from seafood, it is very inexpensive. To make corn or flour tortillas is very inexpensive. Also the rice and beans so popularly served with a main dish is very inexpensive.

Since most Mexican main dishes consist of more than meat, this also cuts down on the cost of the meal. So all this put together makes pretty much the perfect meal. If you don't normally eat Tex-Mex meals, maybe you should try it. Just taste it and feel the heat and the uniqueness of the peppers. The sour, sweet, and salty flavor of a Margarita accentuates the nuance of the Mexican spices.

Or maybe if you're a beer drinker you would prefer a good Mexican beer such as Dos Equis. I know in the state of Texas you can hardly go around the corner without finding a Tex-mex restaurant. If you live in another state just try some of the recipes you can find online or in a cookbook. I love to watch the food network for inspiration on all ethnic foods, but my one true love will always be Tex-mex. I soon hope to include recipes from my Tex-mex favorites.
